We use our Fairness, Prejudice and Workplace Harassment policy to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone connected to High Support Care. All workers must follow our protocols to ensure fairness and equality are upheld.
The aim is to provide clear guidelines so all workers are treated with respect, dignity, and equal opportunity, regardless of personal circumstances.
We have policies in place for the efficient resolution of any matters. This extends to all workers and meets relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Using our Human Resources, Workers Code of Conduct, and Feedback, Compliments and Complaints policies, we ensure all workers contribute to a safe, positive, and equitable environment. We make changes as needed to provide a positive work environment and maintain systems that support equal opportunities for all workers.
We regularly monitor and adapt our systems to meet Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) standards. This includes workplace and education advancements, wages, end-of-employment policies, evaluation policies, and complaint policies.
This policy communicates the correct and appropriate means for securing confidential information. It applies to all High Support Care workers. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action. This policy relates to our Records and Information Management Policy and Procedure and our General Privacy Policy and Procedure.
High Support Care supports the privacy and confidentiality of workers and participants through our Records and Information Management Policy and Procedure. We maintain the protection of privacy continuously. Every person has the right to decide whom to share personal information with. Workers remain responsible for the privacy and security of participants and fellow workers.

Our CEO/Director is committed to ensuring High Support Care follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant government and territory laws. It is the responsibility of all workers to read and comply with state and federal legislation concerning privacy and confidentiality.
We provide appropriate training on systems for the confidentiality of company data, including through performance reviews. If a worker does not have the correct knowledge, additional training may be provided to ensure consistency across High Support Care.
We provide workers with consent forms for personal information. No information is used without consent. Personal information includes but is not limited to photographs, films, and recordings.
We only require confidential information to determine a participant's suitability for a service and to monitor the services provided. Participants are entitled to supply, access, update, and correct their personal information. They may refuse to disclose some information and have the right to revoke consent to disclose personal information at any time.
